Every gift, large or small, makes a difference in the lives of our students
For many St. Petersburg College students, the availability of financial assistance can mean the difference between enrolling in classes and deferring academic and career goals. There are many ways to give the gift of education and make our students' dreams a reality.
General Scholarship Fund
You can donate to the general scholarship fund by making a gift online and selecting the fund you would like to contribute to. You can also send a check to the SPC Foundation and indicate the intended use for your donation in the memo line. Please make the check payable to St. Petersburg College Foundation and mail to:

Traditional Scholarships
Scholarships do so much more than pay for tuition, they give students a greatly needed boost of confidence and encouragement. Contributions can be designated to an existing scholarship or program fund depending on your area of interest. Or, you may choose to direct your gift to the area of greatest need. - Named Scholarship
Establishing your own named scholarship is a wonderful way to honor someone special, recognize your organization or memorialize a loved one. You provide guidance regarding the name of the scholarship, the number and amount of scholarships to be awarded as well as any criteria for the award such as minimum GPA, financial need or area of study.
The threshold for an annual named scholarship is $5,000.
- Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships provide significant and lasting support for SPC’s students in perpetuity. The principle is invested by the Foundation; a percentage of the balance funds the scholarship each year. As with Named Scholarships, you may provide guidance regarding the name of the scholarship, the number of scholarships to be awarded and the amount of the awards.
The threshold for an endowed scholarship is $25,000.
