Collegiate High Schools Offer Many Benefits
St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools offer students the opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate degree with no cost for books, fees or tuition. SPCHS opened its first charter in 2004 at SPC’s St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus, then added a North County option in Tarpon Springs in 2019 and a STEM campus at the college’s Downtown Center in Fall 2022.
BMET Academy
St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools offers a Biomedical Engineering Technology Academy at SPC's Tarpon Springs Campus, where students can complete the Associate in Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology for FREE and their high school diploma. The academy opened in Fall 2023.
STEM Collegiate High School
Students who attend the St. Petersburg Collegiate STEM High School at St. Petersburg College’s Downtown Center can earn a high school diploma, an associate degree and two industry certifications that prepare them for high-wage, in-demand STEM careers – at no cost to families. The newest of the three St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools accepts high school freshmen.
