ADMISSIONS TO HEALTH PROGRAMS AT ST. PETERSBURG COLLEGE

Thank you for your interest in a health program at St. Petersburg College. After you apply to SPC, you will be required to submit a health programs application during specific application windows. Admission is based on selection criteria specific to each program. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission for most programs. If you have not attended SPC in two years, a readmission application will be required.

The links below direct you to the program website where you will find the admission guide and access to the health programs application. The A.S. Degree in Health Sciences and Health Care Services Certificate do not require the Health Programs Application.

Applications are reviewed once the application window has closed. Admissions communication will be sent to your SPC student email account. Please monitor this email account for admission status updates.

Students admitted may need to meet the following based on their program or clinical affiliation requirements:

  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Provide proof of immunizations
  • Provide social security number for clinical clearance
  • Fill out a Health Examination Form
  • Attend a health program orientation.

Health Programs Applications
Applications are accepted through the end of the application window. Once the “applications accepted” window has passed, all applications will be reviewed for completeness and evaluated based on selection criteria indicated in the Admission Guide specific to the health program.

All courses to be considered for admission should be posted to the student’s SPC transcript prior to the end of the application window, unless the program has indicated they will consider current enrollment. Transfer credit and alternate satisfactions approved by the academic department should be posted by the end of the application window. If a program’s applicant pool does not fill the program’s enrollment capacity, the application may remain available for an extended period.

Lower Division Health Programs Admissions
