Program Summary
This program will enable currently licensed and credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to assess and develop their skills in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including, but not limited to the areas of advanced assessment, resuscitation, airway and ventilator management, pharmacology, and specialty gas administration. This program will also assist the practitioner in preparing for the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) exam.
Graduation Requirements
Successful completion of all program courses with a minimum grade of "C".

In order to take this certificate, you need as A.S. degree in Respiratory Care, a current Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential, and an active and valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
This advanced technical certificate is embedded in our B.S. degree in Cardiopulmonary Science.
