Degree gives current and future emergency professionals a credential to get ahead in their careers. To become certified as an Emergency Manager through the National Coordinating Council on Emergency Management (NCCEM), you need work experience.
Please note: This degree now offers a subplan in Fire Science Technology that gives you a scientific understanding of fire hazards and their control while emphasizing effective operating procedures at fires and other emergencies.

Program Summary
This program is offered as a Fully Online program. The Associate in Science degree program allows students to not only graduate with an AS degree, but also be able to meet the entrance requirements to continue the BAS degree in Public Safety. Graduation Requirements
Minimum Grade of "C" in all Support and Major courses.
