Welcome to Student Life and Leadership! Our mission is to provide transformative out-of-class opportunities for students to further develop themselves as productive citizens within their community, through diversity, leadership development, service/civic engagement, student success and wellness.

We know there's more to college than just textbooks and tests; there's also the chance to make new friends and explore your passions by joining our student clubs and organizations, attending social events and activities, and getting involved in the community. And with many online options, it’s easier than ever to get involved at SPC!

How to start a club

  1. Gather five or more fellow students who share your interest and meet with a Student Life and Leadership Coordinator.
  2. Visit the Student Life and Leadership office on your campus to complete the form to provide your Statement of Purpose, list your charter members and propose an advisor. (The advisor can be a full-time or adjunct faculty member or non-faculty career employee.)
  3. Final approval of all organizations rests with the college administration. Once chartered, the organization becomes a recognized group on campus and is subject to all policies, privileges and regulations of the college.
