The Collective Power of Women at SPC

100 Strong, Women Empowering Women, Saint Petersburg CollegeThe collective power of women at St. Petersburg College is stronger today than ever before. Working together, we’re making a difference for students throughout Pinellas County, creating new opportunities, new connections, and new pathways to a better tomorrow.

100 Strong, Women Empowering Women, is a new initiative at St. Petersburg College dedicated to women empowering every student enrolled at St. Petersburg College. As we near our centennial anniversary, we’ve established 100 Strong to be a women-led movement harnessing the power of the Pinellas County Women’s community, the vision of 100 Strong is to make a difference in the lives of students through philanthropy, education, and engagement.

Our members do so to honor their own pasts, to support the students of today, and to change the future for each student who receives a scholarship, stipend, or grant from our program.

What We Support:

Titans Care

Titans Care helps students on every step of their SPC journey, from middle school through to graduation. Titans Care consists of over 30 programs that provide mentors, mental health services, food pantry, veterans programs, and Brother to Brother and Women on the Way (WOW). Women on the Way serves as a resource and support program designed to meet the educational needs of students seeking to complete a college degree or certificate.

The SPC Promise Scholarship

The SPC Promise Scholarship stands to empower a new generation of young people. It is a revolutionary step in honoring our commitment to ensuring economic opportunity and mobility for every community in Pinellas County. The scholarship represents a promise to every student at eight Pinellas County high schools that if they graduate high school and maintain their grades, they can earn an associate degree from SPC for free. It’s a rare opportunity, and one targeted toward the most impoverished communities in the county.
