Take college classes while still in high school

St. Petersburg College offers many ways to earn free college credit while you're still in high school. Through SPC, students who attend Pinellas County public, private and home-education programs can take high school and SPC courses at the same time. There is no cost for tuition or the college application, and textbooks are free for Pinellas County Schools students.

St. Petersburg College students who hold current industry certifications or licenses or have completed approved high school, technical college, apprenticeship, or workforce training programs may be eligible to receive free college credit.

St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools offer students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate degree with no cost for books, fees or tuition. These schools are located at the Downtown Center, the St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus and the Tarpon Springs Campus.
